Job Details
Role: Network Engineer
Location: Remote
Type of Engagement: Long term Contract
Schedule: US Timezone – EST

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain secure, scalable LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot network issues across multiple client environments.
• Implement VLANs, QoS, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), and load balancing.
• Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams.
• Monitor bandwidth usage, latency, and uptime metrics.
• Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and failover testing.
• Assist in setting up secure remote access and firewall policies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, or Meraki devices.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPN, ACLs, and Wi-Fi management.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, NetFlow, or Zabbix).
• Certifications preferred: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE.
• Ability to document complex network environments and changes accurately.
