Job Details

Role: Helpdesk Tier 1
Location: Remote
Type of Engagement: Long term Contract
Schedule: US Timezone – EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, user-friendly technical support for end user issues via remote tools.
  • Manage Active Directory tasks (user accounts, permissions, group policies).
  • Troubleshoot issues with printers, email, and business applications.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by setting up or deactivating user accounts and devices.
  • Build and configure workstations/laptops to company standards.
  • Resolve software and system issues efficiently across various platforms.
  • Meet daily productivity goals and maintain high user satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies to improve support delivery.
  • Travel onsite only when necessary to complete tasks not possible remotely.
  • Perform additional tasks aligned with team and company goals.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience.
  • Calm, positive attitude under pressure with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay current with tech trends.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills - can explain tech to non-tech users.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Zendesk) is a plus.
  • Certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365, Network+, CCNA) are highly valued.
  • Team player with a collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
